If you enjoy The Hop Jam and want something a little more intimate, plan to join the Hanson brothers and Dead Armadillo Brewing Co. in a Brewers’ Table Dinner at 6 p.m. Aug. 28.

The event benefits the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and brings together the elements of great Oklahoma craft beer, along with a gourmet meal designed by the food bank’s executive chef, Jeff Marlow.

This year’s dinner will feature Tulsa’s Dead Armadillo Brewing, which has participated in The Hop Jam festival since its beginning. On hand for the dinner will be a special selection of beers curated for the occasion, paired with a multicourse meal.

Hop Jam founders, musicians and fellow brewers the Hanson brothers will again co-host the event. Last year’s event helped raise thousands of dollars and provided 60,000 meals for hungry Oklahomans.

“We’re thrilled to continue our support of the food bank with the second Brewers’ Table Dinner later this summer. This is another chance for The Hop Jam to bring together the amazing elements of craft beer and community. We’re looking forward to another great event,” Taylor Hanson said.

The relationship with the Community Food Bank and The Hop Jam was established at the first event in 2014.

The annual tradition of raising funds through the sale of raffle tickets for the chance to win a custom Hop Guitar will continue in 2018, and this year, it will be extended to provide the opportunity to raise further funds, with the final giveaway coinciding with the 2018 Brewers’ Table Dinner.

“We are so excited to again host the Brewers’ Table Dinner in partnership with the Hanson brothers,” said Eileen Bradshaw, executive director of the Food Bank. “It highlights Tulsa’s burgeoning brew culture, showcases the talents of the food bank chefs, and raises food for our neighbors who struggle. It all comes together in a wonderful evening.”

Guitar raffle tickets will be available on-site at The Hop Jam. Brewers’ Table Dinner tickets are $150 and will be available online Monday, May 21.
