The music lineup has been announced for the Hop Jam craft beer and music festival.

Hop Jam 2018 will feature Manchester Orchestra, Nada Surf, Ra Ra Riot, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, plus other artists.

The date (Sunday, May 20) of the event was announced previously. Ticket and event information is available at thehopjam.com.

Oklahoma’s largest craft beer and music festival, the Hop Jam is in its fifth year and will bring an expected 40,000 guests with music on two stages in the heart of the Tulsa Arts District.

A news release said indie-rock group Manchester Orchestra will make an overdue return to Tulsa, along with the critically acclaimed Nada Surf, Ra Ra Riot, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors and others on the main stage. The full music lineup will be showcased in all-ages, free concerts on two stages and will include the winner of the Tulsa World’s Awesome Music Opening Band Contest.

The contest winner will open the show. Runners-up in the statewide contest will perform on the park stage. To participate, local artists can submit music until Friday, April 20, at tulsaworld.com/awesomemusiccontest.

The festival was founded in 2014 by Tulsa pop rock trio Hanson (inducted last year into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame) and its Hanson Brothers Beer Co., along with the support of the McNellie’s Group. Hanson is not among 2018 performers.

In addition to free concerts, the release said the festival will introduce breweries from Oklahoma, across the U.S. and around the world.

The craft beer portion of the event will feature more than 90 breweries from 15 states and five countries. Among them: Oklahoma favorites Marshall, COOP and American Solera, plus leading U.S. craft brewers Dogfish Head, Jolly Pumpkin, Destihl and Evil Twin; and international brewers including Dieu du Ciel, Omnipollo, To Øl and others.

The festival supports the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma through a special Hop Guitar Raffle, which has raised funds to provide 140,000 meals, according to the release. Guests can purchase tickets online and on-site for this year’s guitar raffle.

Event tickets are available online, with a variety of offerings from beer tastings to VIP options including early entry, access to the Hop Talks panels and a special VIP lounge offering food and select craft beers. Also available is a music VIP ticket. It offers a private viewing platform, indoor amenities, food and select craft beers.

Hanson is again partnering with the McNellie’s Group to host the beer festival. The release said this year’s Hop Jam festival is proud to acknowledge some key partners helping to lend their support to make the event possible, including iHeart Media, KMOD, The Beat, Tulsa World Media, RibCrib, Boardwalk Brands, BOK Center, Rustic Cuff, Bluestem and many more.
