John Lennon Educational Tour Bus Come Together for Education Event

Join us in Austin during spring break for lunch, presentations, workshops, panels, and a special performance by Hanson! The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, which is committed to providing students with increased access to music, audio, video, and broadcast technologies, will roll into Austin for SXSW and will host a special event, Come Together for Education, in partnership with TASA on Thursday, March 15, 12:30-3:30 p.m. This is a free event, but you must RSVP.

    Have you experienced an impactful speaker at your school on SEL topics that create an immediate buzz but you wonder if you’ve created a lasting impact within your students? Panelists in this session will discuss the value of creating sustained, memorable SEL programming to develop essential competencies for success in school, work, and life.

    Set against the backdrop of John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s life and music, Come Together engages K-12 students in conversations and creative activities around peace, empathy, activism, social justice, and more. Attendees will get a sneak peak and participate as a group in the first lesson on PEACE.
