The List

Hanson, all grown up, will perform in Manchester this December

Brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac take ‘MMMBop’ (and other hits) to the city on Sun 10 Dec

Hanson are to perform a one off show at Manchester’s O2 Ritz this December, with presale tickets on sale at 10am on Tue 19 Sep.

The brothers, Isaac, Taylor and Zac, have spent the past year touring the world to celebrate 25 years of being a band. The Manchester show on Sun 10 Dec is their last UK date of the year.

With the effortlessly catchy, radio friendly pop anthem ‘MMMBop’, the Hanson brothers became a household name the world over. The track topped the charts in 27 countries, with millions attempting (and failing) to sing along with the chorus accurately. The correct words are: ‘Mmmbop, ba duba dop / Ba du bop, ba duba dop / Ba du bop, ba duba dop / Ba du, yeah’. Put your headphones on and practice for an hour a day.

Back then the trio were still in their teens, (16, 14 and 11), and their desire to perform has lasted into a third decade, with the group avoiding the pitfalls that typically trap teen stars.

All for the best, fans in Manchester have the change to hear hits from Hanson’s career (and the big, big hit too) up close and personal this December.

Hanson play Manchester’s O2 Ritz on Sun 10 Dec. Presale tickets go on sale at 10am on Tue 19 Sep, and tickets go on general sale at 9am on Thu 21 Sep. Act quickly, folks.
